Neal did a fantastic job designing the courses. We had a PBS film crew out at the event - hopefully we will get some advanced warning on when we might see the resulting video.
We had far more participants than we thought we would - 66 individuals in total. Many of these were "adventure racers" who all seemed to have a good time.
One item of note was that for all five courses the fastest time recorded was not by a man. Women won four of the courses and a team won the fifth. From this we can only conclude that if we have a club relay championship we need to heavily penalize the all-women teams!
