Frisco Nordic Center

Once again it was a sunny, windless day at Frisco at Frisco Nordic Center. The only complaints I had were about what wax to use. Lots of shortcuts between the groomed trails with really deep snow to get through. Maps were preprinted with codes on the map. Sharon Crawford again designed the three courses, then left to compete in the Canadian Ski Marathon and World Master's Ski-O Championships in Italy. She brought home her 15th Gold in the CSM and first place in the WMSO championships.

Our meet crew was probably set a couple of records. Probably the highest ski-o in the world at 9000 feet and also the oldest crew (average age 78. . Mil and Margareta hung all the controls Friday. Mil took care of start and finish timing while George Bramhall handled registration. Margareta Lambert and Betty Bramhall assisted with instruction. Margareta, Dan & Denise Snow, Betty Bramhall and Dave Felknor helped pick up controls. Thanks to all.

It was nice to see one group enjoy the course, including a stops for picture taking and some lunch.

Many thanks to the staff at the Frisco Nordic Center for making this wonderful facility available to us again. They give us a great deal on ski passes making the overall cost less than a daily pass.
