Many thanks to the Frisco Nordic Center Staff for their help in hosting this event. The Ski-O courses were designed and set by Sharon Crawford with help from Sherry Litasi. Beginner Instruction was shared by Sherry, Betty Bramhall, and Margareta Lambert. Mil Plant handled Starts and Finishes outside while George Bramhall did another excellent job handling registration. Jim Plant printed maps for all courses.

Adam Feerst set up a very difficult Snowshoe Score-O event and spent 5-6 hours hanging 21 controls on Thursday. The controls ranged from 10-point controls close to the trails, up to 70-, 80- and 90-point controls located further off trails and through deeper powder at the extreme edges of our Frisco Peninsula map. Competitors had the opportunity to venture a short way across the frozen lake to pick up controls on two islands. The maximum point value for the Score-O was 970 for all controls; the winner, Jason Poole (Eastern Mountain Sports), had 840 points.

The weather was ideal. A little cold to start with but by 11:00am we sent the clouds to Denver and had a sunny afternoon. After the meet, club members enjoyed a dinner and celebration of George's 86th birthday at the Plants' house in Frisco.
