Mini-ROGAINE Training Event
November 5th, 2005
We had near perfect conditions during the event, with sunny skies and cool temperatures. Despite the short notice about the event there were 45 participants who came and all stayed out for the entire time. The training course provided a good range of challenge for all, and six participants showed their navigational and physical talents by sweeping the course. As the post-event photos show, there was much cameraderie after the event as we celebrated the joy of good orienteering on a fine day.
Thank you to:
- Nancy Hobbs for helping with course setting and coordinating the race prologue;
- Brooke Mann for coordinating the pre-registration and announcements; and
- the Summit County and Colorado Springs folks for coming to the event in snowy driving conditions.

Draw & Compare Route Choices with Route Gadget
Gordon was able to get feedback from some of the top finishers about their route choices. These provide an excellent training opportunity for all. In looking over those routes it's amazing how different they are.
