  • Map: New as of 2023 based on 2020 LIDAR, drafting and field checked by Odd Bersvendsen, contour interval 2.5 meters, elevation around 9,000 ft. Mostly cleaned forest floor with many trails/rides and areas with dense young pine. Creeks and marshes are mostly dry but might change with weather. Willows in meadows are dense and difficult to get through. Beside trails there are generally few details beside vegetation on the map.

This is a private resort and we need to be courteous to make sure we can come back next year. Snow Mountain Ranch is also home for some moose families, and we recommend avoiding any confrontation, cows can be protective of the calves.

Also, there is an Endurance Race Series Trail Running Festival on Saturday, September 23rd. Test your running speed at Snow Mountain Ranch.

  • Driving Directions:

    • Take I-70 West.
    • Exit #232 / US 40 West towards Granby / Empire.
    • Drive through town of Berthoud Falls and over Berthoud Pass.
