General Information: Today's events will consist of:
- a fun Score-O course for all ability levels in the vicinity of the Broomfield Community Center;
- a group lunch at the Broomfield Community Center; and
- RMOC's annual meeting at the Broomfield Community Center.
Schedule: Our Score-O registration / start / finish area will be near the Tennis Courts.
10:45 - 10:55 am Registration / check-in and pre-race rules & announcements, just west of the library and near the tennis courts. 11:00 am Mass Start for Score-O course. One-hour time limit. 12:00 - 1:00 pm Lunch at the shelter near the start. 1:30 - 3:00 pm RMOC Annual Meeting at Broomfield Community Center. Event Fees: The Score-O course will be FREE.
Score-O Course:
In a Score-O course format, the goal is to find as many controls (checkpoints) as possible, in any order, within the time limit. Points are deducted from your score if you exceed the time limit.
The event will be similar to what we actually did last year - it will be a Score-O based on answering questions around the mapped area, with a 1 hour time limit. Each question has the same point value. The area that I have "mapped" is near the Broomfield Community Center to include baseball fields, library area, and the Community Park just north of the library, and portions of the Open Space Park (The Field Open Space) that lies north of the Community Center and north of the Broomfield Civic Center.
Bring a pen or pencil to answer questions at each of the "controls", which are fixed landmarks rather than anything temporarily flagged.
Map scale is one of the questions that you will determine, so it will be helpful to know your pace count. The map is not a finished product as yet, but should allow for finding the various control points and having fun.
Lunch:
THANK YOU to Kathleen Brennan for making all the lunch arrangements! Details from Kathleen:
As gratitude for all our volunteers, RMOC is treating everyone to lunch.
The best reason to come to the annual meeting is the fabulous pizzas we are getting from Infinitus PIE (iPIE), but we also need your help making some decisions.

- The Walt: thick crust, pepperoni, ham, bacon, sausage, beef.

RMOC's annual meeting will take place after our lunch, from 1:30 to 3:00 pm. If you have topics to add to the meeting agenda, please add to the google document here.
