Orienteering Meet at Chatfield State Park
Saturday, June 7th, 2008 -- Littleton
Saturday was a good day for the Chatfield meet. Thirty teams and individuals took advantage of the great weather to compete. We had a broad spectrum of people take part in mainly the Orange and Sprint courses, for which we appreciate their participation. The Sprint course, normally easy at Chatfield, kept competitors on the toes in their navigation. And kudos to Drew and Mitch for giving the adults that they were with a lesson in orienteering. :)
Special thanks goes to Yelena Zamoshchina and Simon Maybury for doing the registration, to Andy Osani and Sarah Imeg (soon to be Osani) for time keeping and help collecting controls at the end of the meet, and to Troy Bozarth and Brooke Mann for doing the results. These guys were a superb help in making the meet go well.
Additional thanks also goes to Andy for helping vet the course (even the controls that weren't there). :)
