Ski-O & Snowshoe-O at Devil's Thumb Ranch

This event had Short, Medium, and Long courses. Both snowshoes and skis were used. As for skiers, Gordon and Bob used classic skis, and the others skated.
The fresh snow was appreciated, but the high winds made the efforts by all impressive. One adjective to describe the outside time was 'bleak'. The grooming machine was out during the day, but the tracks quickly disappeared.
Thanks to JP Ingebrigtsen for arranging this meet, designing and setting the courses, and for sitting in while the other volunteers competed. Thanks to Libby Ellis for registration, and Bob Ellis for the E-punch coordination. Gordon McCurry, Doug Berling, and JP Ingebrigtsen are appreciated for collecting the controls.
