Orienteering Meet at Bear Creek Lake Park
Saturday, May 6th, 2023 -- Lakewood
Late in the day as we were waiting on the last few finishers, one group came in with a flag that had been bent up and thrown into the bushes, near control #48. The rest of the parts of the control, like the stand and the epunch box, were missing. This affected several other late runners.
Sverre and I did a little more searching after the event, but did not find anything.
I have adjusted some of the results and split times to account for the missing control. The amount of lost time varied for each person, but I have attempted to fix the splits to give everyone credit for the missing flag.
